Keith L : way is the drive called a Micro-USB drive?AMALIE R : It's called Micro-USB because the connector to the drive itself is a micro-usb connector which has a regular USB or USB-C connector on the other end of the cable. It comes with two cables, for USB-3 and USB-C, each with the same micro-usb type male plug for the drive itself.PAUL S : I believe because the connections fit only the new smaller USB cables a la the recent MacBook Pros.
