The first time I accessed the front of enclosure, the push latch broke. I was concerned about durability of product and retuned it. It’s been a week since the return and I have yet to see reimbursement. Hopefully it will come soon.

Very happy so far. Drives/array arrived promptly, and the unit has got some heft - I liked that. Noise is barely noticed, and only when listening on purpose. Never mucked around with a Raid Drive before, so had to research that the software I needed to convert it to Raid-1 from its arrival in Raid-0 needed to be downloaded from G-Tech website... disk drive alone wouldn't do it. Anyway, now setup with my iMac and running smoothly. Unit is nicely sized and fit easily amidst my desktop flotsam and jetsam (see pic). The "G" logo light on the front of the unit is very bright in the dark. Unless a drive fails I'll be quite happy with my purchase.

This is my third G-Tech drive and love them! Lots of storage and they're built like a tank. We have lots of photos and other large files at our business that needed backup and G-Tech is our only choice. Our first drive is three years old and has been used daily with no failures and that's why we solely use G-Tech backup drives.
