This is one of the worst buys I've ever done.It says it has a max load of 11 lbs and that's [*]. Tried it on one of my cameras, a Nikon D200 dSLR, with a standard lens, not heavy at all, actually light weight lens. Total weight of this is max 6 lbs. It just couldn't hold the camera up however tightly I turned the knobs even though I place the camera in horizontal position.I've tried it twice for a few minutes. Taking it out now again to sell it, I took it out to check the model nr and pulled out the legs and one of them snapped like a tooth pick without me putting ANY force at all to it.This is not worth it even for free.
