While there are several brands of glass screen protectors that work well, this is the only one that I've found is easy to accurately apply. No bubbles either. It is nice that the price has dropped too, the 1st one I bought many years ago for a Nikon D300S cost $

I have these on every camera. Just replaced one that got cracked-worked as designed. The protector took the impact, not my lcd screen. Good investment.

Had purchased the same product over a year ago to protect the screen on my Nikon 3100. It shattered when I accidentally dropped my camera against a steel post. Although it shattered there was not a mark on my camera screen. Great product that's why I purchased another one./

The screen is virtually invisible once installed; it will not be noticed unless attention is called to it. Unlike the plastic LCD covers that come with cameras, it adds no bulk, will not scratch, and does not catch on clothing Light transmission is terrific. On a Nikon D 7000 the vertical dimension is a mm or two short. I recommend putting the overlap at the bottom; you can still see the bottom lines on the LCD under the black surround since you are normally looking down at it anyway.

Got this to use on a new Nikon V1, as I'm very haoppy with the one on my M9. It is a good fit, but the black band around the edge is a bit big, and covers a bit of the image and menu items. Not a deal buster, but something for Giottos to consider changing.

Clear as glass, because that's what it is! Cracked it after one month. I hope I can get it off without scratching the LCD. I will go for poly-carbonate next, for 1/3 the price. I would rather have a scratch on the protector than having thin glass to worry about.

If you have have digital camera this is a must have. Easy to apply and remove if need be. Protects the screen on the camera from scratches. The sheets that you tear off do not do as good as job as this glass shield does.

This LCD protector fit great but you have to spend some time to figure out exactly where you want it on your camera. Mine went on a Leica DLux4 and couldn't be any happier. The trick to this product is to make sure where you want it prior to pealing off the back cover film. DO NOT TOUCH the exposed adhesive or your fingerprints will be there forever! Placement is critical so you can see everything on your display. Test your camera in live view as well as playback to determine where you want this to mount as it is not camera specific. Take your time & do it right~ you have 1 chance to get it right.

Screen protector was easy to install, seems like it will be very durable, and didn't obscure the clarity of view. Since I've only had it for a month, I can't attest to it's durability, but it seems like it will be very durable. Time will tell. I looked at lots of screen protectors, and this one seemed to be best by far. Wasn't too keen on the price, but then again, I seldom find high-quality optical products inexpensive.

Be sure to align the screen carefully before installation because you only get 1 chance to get it right.

it did not stay in placed. I did every thing that is on the manual. And I almost lost it when it fell off.

Easy to install, then you forget it. No bubbles at all: an improvement over the film protections. I like it a lot, reinforces the protection of the display, no fear to scratch the screen anymore. Durability? Too early to say (2-3 weeks), wait and see - but at least it's firmly fixed: does not move at all when cleaning it.

Excellent quality. This provides another level of protection to the LCD and the optical glass is super clear. Easy to install but be careful not to attach it too low or it will block the LCD information at the bottom slightly (Best to install with data on the LCD, so you can see exactly where to place the glass over the LCD).

It fits perfectly on my Nikon D3. I am very pleased with the fit and how it looks after installation....it was a breeze to install as well. Now I am thinking about getting one for my Nikon D300 as well...it's really good based on my early experience....

Purchased screen cover to go on my EOS-1d Mark III. First of all the unit is too small to fully cover the screen. The screen protector may well cover the screen but you can get CUT by rubbing over the edges of the protector. Not exactly what I was expecting for such a price. Should have gone with another product for sure. I'll live with it for now..

Giottos' new professional optical screen protector is named "AEGIS" a rigid optic glass from Zeiss, Germany. It protects the LCD panel against abrasion, scratches or incident impact. Multi-layer efficient anti-reflective coatings can help with clarity and color blindness. No more residual image or ghost image, always high definition and transmission on your LCD screen. Suitable for all digital cameras and DVs.
