Does hold both of my DSLRs but sure looks flimsy. Haven't taken it out yet so maybe it will prove me wrong.

The U.pod series was developed after a great deal of consultation with end users and professionals in the industry. Constructed of an aluminum alloy, protected by a wear proof black lacquer.
The legs fold into the central column to use the U.pod as a mini monopod. Unfolded, the legs become a platform turning the U.pod into a stable mini tripod. Complete with wrist strap for convenient carrying.
This Giottos QU 305B convertible tripod can be used either as a table-top tripod, or as a mini or handheld monopod. The short extension column can be removed from the tripod legs, which allows for a minimum working height of only 2.2". With the extension column connected, a height of 13.8" is achieved, with a respectable load capacity of 11 lbs.
