Use this product in outdoor photography. A little heavy but helps to anchor it. Used with Sony a77 with 28 to 250mm lens.

I got this tripod so I could always have a tripod with me. It's small, light, and sturdy so just what I wanted. I'd like to have an L-bracket for it but the mounting plate is "Arca Style" and I can't find one to fit except for ones that cost 3-times more than the tripod did.

I wanted a small, light, sturdy tripod and this one is all of that. My only problem with it is the Arca-style quick release. I would like to have an L-Bracket for it and I just can't find one that I'm sure will fit and doesn't cost twice as much as the tripod. I'm planning on replacing the Giottos ball head with a Manfrotto so I can use the L-Bracket I already have.

This tripod delivers what it is supposed to. Some acceptable disadvantages are, its bit heavy and unfolding is not a breeze. One important tip: do not use more than half a turn to release the leg so that you are sure how much you need to turn to tighten them back. I used it in extreme windy condition, it is solid like a rock. I do not hesitate putting my heavy gear on it. Convertible option as a monopod is something nice about it.
