I haven't had it for long but it works as advertised and is a fraction of the price of the Sony version.

I will say I really only use it for the second battery and that I have bigger hands. The price was great and its built really well and its working perfect for my what I need.

I've been using this on my A7iii since October 2020 and have been very happy. Getting ready to order another on for the other A7iii.

Before buying this from Address I was considering to purchase the original Sony Grip but found out that from the technical point and design there was basically no major difference. The installation to the camera was straight forward and had caused no problem. This grip gives your camera a more distinctive look and a firmer hold especially when shooting longer exposure. Very happy with my purchase.

The vertical grip is very well made and works perfectly. I was a bit worried about not getting the Sony brand but it feels very well made and works just like it is supposed to.

Quality seems good at a fraction of the Sony price especially if you don't intend using it all the time, it seems like it will do the job. I would recommend for anyone who has never used a grip. If you don't like it you aren't out much!

Chances are you do not need this product. I purchased this to go with my a7III to extend shooting time, but found the new Sony battery lasts all day long! While it does help take portrait mode images it is not a requirement.

Works flawlessly I have no issues with it. Obviously the build quality isn’t as good, but for the price it’s amazing.

A very good substitute of the original vertical grip! Good quality for only a fraction of value from the original one.

I absolutely love the fact that ergonomically, it works. I’ve heard complaints about why you should get a grip. Never understood why until I got one. Now I have one for my a6300 and a7iii. My one gripe, and potential fatal flaw...when I attach the grip, seemingly with two batteries; the camera resets itself. My custom settings may be gone every time, not sure but I do know I have to reset the clock every single time. If there’s a fix, let me know. Aside from that, being able to shoot up to ten hours Timelapse is a big plus. Still lighter than a ff dslr is another win. No other issues on my end from this.

My camera's battery life is pretty good, so I didn't buy this battery grip for extra usage time. I bought it so that when I flip my camera 90 degrees for vertical shots it would be more ergonomic. Read some reviews online about various 3rd party grips. Finally settled on this guy. There's a pretty popular one on Amazon, I won't mention brands, but if you search for it, its pretty obvious which one i'm referring to. At first I was going to get that one, but after digging a little deeper, I started finding reviews about how you'd have to turn on the grip itself as a secondary power source, and if you didn't power your camera and grip on in the "correct" order, you'd lose data(?). That doesn't even sound like it makes any sense as I write this review, but those were what the reviews said. Like I said, I ended up with the Green Extreme from Adorama, and I couldn't be happier. Grip feels sturdy (it's a bit lighter than the a7iii itself overall, but mostly is in line with the feel of the camera. There's a locking mechanism on the grips shutter button (so none of that strange powering on in which order business). Buttons are a bit clicky, but they're not terribly bad. And it fits into my SmallRig. Would recommend, and buy again if I had to.

For the price, this is an excellent product. Although I haven't had a chance to put it through it's paces (had it for less than a month), it attached easily and seems solidly built. I would absolutely buy accessories from this company again.

A value alternative of a battery grip to the couple hundred dollars Sony branded one. At this pricepoint you can't expect much, the maker has to cut corners in order to make margin on a product like this. So i have done couple baseball photoshoots with this grip on the sony A7 iii and each sessions were around 4-5 hours long. Overall the grip feels good, wished there were more padding or a bit thicker gel or some sort where the lower palm rest on the camera. Materials are plastic and does mimic the texture of the A7 iii. The one reason I deduct a star on this is that battery measurement is not at all accurate.

One of the main reasons I switched to Sony was the ability to have a camera small enough to carry everywhere without sacrificing image quality and functionality. I shoot a lot with the 100-400 and 1.4x TC for my kids’ soccer games, and the small size can be uncomfortable after a game. I knew a grip would help, but I see the Sony battery grip as dramatically overpriced, so instead I bought the grip extension. It is an improvement over the bare body for sports shooting, but it is not as substantial as a full grip. I nearly ordered a different brand but came across this Green Extreme grip. It is a bit cheaper and I had used their products before with positive results. Is the Sony grip better? Maybe - I never used it. Could the shutter button be clickier? Sure. This grip is certainly built to a price, but I don’t feel like I’m giving up much at all.

Can’t beat it for the price. Purchased it for a backup camera. The feel is not quite as heavy as the Sony, however, fit and function are spot on. Well done with the Adorama guarantee!!! Would buy again.
