You can purchase a charger with the plate you need as a package on this website. The dual battery charger is $50 while the single battery charger is $30. I have a dual charger for my Sony batteries - I have 16 batteries that I use for my Alpha 7r II. I also have a battery grip that allows me to use two batteries at a time. Battery life is so short that it's good to have a lot of these, especially if you can't charge after each day of shooting. The nice thing about these chargers is the replaceable plates. My wife's camera uses different batteries, so I have plates for her batteries as well. cheap item

It stopped working less than a year after I got it. Also, as mentioned in another review, the level indicator is not accurate (i.e. camera gives a different power level reading), to the point it will read 35% when battery is empty and so on. Some Sony chargers are ridiculously expensive, but hopefully that's for a reason and why this one is so cheap.

Pretty good camera, but do some research on which lens will suit you.

I’m not a professional or anything, so take this with a grain of salt, but I would say that overall it is a pretty decent camera. The only real downside is the lens that came with it- had I known more about photography at the time, I would have elected for a different one. Don’t get me wrong, its not bad or anything, it just isn’t incredibly versatile. The camera’s great though.

Battery charging solution

OK so no one has just one type. of battery in their kit but you don’t need to have more than one charger. The Green Extreme charger w/ interchangeable plates solved many problems for us. We can now charge Sony NP-FW50, F550, F970 and Panasonic DLW’s … in pairs and through a smart charge. As an added feature the universal dual base will take both AC and DC inputs. This makes it an extremely functional charge station

excelent versatile dual charger

I have been using this charger for several months now. Originally only for my canon LPE6 batteries. But I have now purchased additional battery plates for two different SONY cameras. In all cases the charger has worked extremely well, indicating percentage of charge on each battery. Plates are easy to change, fit snug, and hold batteries securely in place. I highly recommend this charger. Can also be used with car adapter for charging on the go.
