I purchased 2 of these batteries to have 3 total including the original Sony battery. They do work but they do not hold a charge as long as the Sony while shooting. After a yr of casual shooting they only get worse, while my Sony is as good as day 1.

Short lifespan.

I am happy so far with this battery. I consider this an initial review since I do not have a long term history with this battery or the brand. Fit, feel and finish is good. The battery performs well and is lasting although I have not tracked any metric like # of photos per charge. I did read another review saying it did not last as long as the OEM battery I did notice the specs on the battery are not the same. There is a difference in the mAh. The Green Extreme has less so that could explain their comment that their battery did not last as long as the OEM battery. So, with just a few months of casual usage (1,500 photos or so) I am happy so far.

Holds charge much better than other non-Sony battery that I purchased for my Alpha 99. Great price compared to Sony.

these are comparable to my Sony batteries,  normally run on 2 all day at weddings in my vertical grip no problems.
