I bought this a part of a kit with a Flashpoint Zoom TTL R2 flash for Nikon but the battery pack is for Cannon Flashes. How do they expect me to plug it in. Really guys!!!! Bought it 2 years ago but never had need for it till now so I didnt try to plug it in to the socket it WASN'T made for till today.

this was my replacement from other unit I bought few month ago which was very temperamental in its performance. Thank goodness to Unit was under Adorama warranty but stil costed me a return shipping fee wich I don't get any credit for its failure.

Was shooting with this on April 12. The 30 minute time out is very fustrating. When using 2 of these and working with models I expected faster speedlite refresh. But maybe they were just shutting them selfs off?

I load with NiMH and, if necessary, can get "Emergency" batteries if I need them. ;-) GREAT VALUE!!! :-) BIG BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!!! ;-)

This is just a container for 12 AA batteries, it works great but charging 12 batteries is not for everyone

YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! The built of this product is unbelievable. It feels so well built and sturdy for the value you're getting. It lasts a pretty great deal and the recycling time of my speedlite flash is super fast. It makes shooting on location feel like being in the studio with the ability to fire rapidly with multiple frames per second. A great addition to your bag if you're the mobile on location photographer like myself!

So far, I love this battery pack. This unit holds 12 AA batteries to power your speedlites. I personally use NiMH batteries because they can be re-charged many, many times. Past experiences with battery operated devices, I prefer the AA battery option as opposed to one large NiMH or Li-ion cell because AA batteries will be around for the foreseeable future, whereas a single cell may not be available once the main battery fails. I've been there one too many times and have learned to go the AA battery route. This unit should last me a good long time and it recycles the flash almost instantaneously. You won't be disappointed buying this unit.

Your DSLR speedlight has the new found energy to recycle faster, maintain its staying power and last through the gig, when you connect it with the Green Extreme CB12 Compact Battery Pack with a perfect custom molded connector for choice Canon flashes.
The dependable slim pack adds the vigor of 12AA cells to expand the longevity of the flash, way beyond the limits of standard 4 AA batteries. Recycle times quickened to as little as one second at full power. Depending on your speedlight, you may see as much as 800 full power exposures from a single set of AA's.
Any alkaline or Ni-MH batteries fit into the quick-loading tray. The photographer never has to guess about reserve levels, as they are always visible on the LED display. A rugged integrated 7 foot flexible coiled cable connects the pack firmly to the strobe whilehanging on a light stand with the included soft case. The case can be attached to a belt, strapped to gear or affixed to the flash. For safety, the unit shields the connected flash with a thermal circuit that averts overheating and electrical surges.
This is the perfect way to use a speedlight off camera for weddings and events where multiple lighting is a plus, and you need the speed and security of a battery pack, without the expense.
