Perfect compliment to my gitzo mountaineer tripod.
Exactly as expected!
I have the Traveler Series 1 Gitzo tripod and needed a little something extra for carrying the tripod distances in the cold. I grabbed these when they were offered at a considerable discount by Adorama - thank you! As others have said, there isn't a lot of cushioning but just enough for me. I especially like the ability to carry the tripod w/out freezing my hands. I suspect that thicker insulation would prevent the tripod from closing completely negating the advantage of a small, compact trip...

The Gitzo GC2560 Tripod Leg Warmer increases the level of protection and comfort while using and carrying tripods. The leg warmer combines the two things, without compromising on lightweight and compactness, so appreciated on Gitzo tripods. It is enough protective for the legs and, at the same time, it has a very soft touch that makes them really pleasant to use. It is made of a soft coating on the outside and feature a special non-slippery rubber on the inside, for added stability and a safer handling. It is dedicated to Series 1 and 2 tripods.
