This is a fantastic travel tripod! Lightweight, strong, easy to pack and carry, and holds a DSLR with moderate lens. The quality is top-notch. Being so lightweight and compact makes it way more likely to be carried in a backpack, thus opening photographic possibilities off the beaten path. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a hook on the center column. Other than that, it's the ultimate travel tripod.
