Gitzo GS3121LVL Systematic Leveling Base for Series 3 Tripods

The Gitzo GS3121LVL Systematic Leveling Base for Gitzo Systematic Series 3 tripods is an interchangeable accessory component that fits into the tripod's top casting and allows a camera to be leveled easily, accurately and conveniently without the need for adjusting each leg of the tripod individually. The leveling base tilts 15deg. in any direction around its large half ball and the ultra-wide platform gives solid support and high performance.

It can be used between a Systematic tripod and the head of your choice (it's ideal with flat-based fluid heads for video, long-lens photography or spotting scopes), or can mount a camera directly as a heavy-duty, low-profile head substitute under medium- or large-format cameras. The leveling base is fully compatible with Gitzo's new Systematic tripods, in particular with the range's safety catch feature.
