A potentially important part for tripods
Ordered a new arca-swiss ball head, excitedly opened it up to use it, figured out it requires a 3/8-inch 20thread stud, and my old tripod has a 1/4-inch 20thread stud. No go! I had to turn right around and order this adapter so the too could dance! Once this adapter is installed into the base of the ball head, the 1/4-inch stud on the tripod works just fine. So just to make it clear since the description is not too much. If you have a female 3/8 to put on a male 1/4-20 this is what you need. Using it with my old 6x6 camera and my new tripod.
