Ok but not very sturdy

I have a 20 ish pound camera and lens on it and it does not seem strong enough. The center post comes loose and the plate that screws into the camera does as well. It came loose and the camera fell off at the beach last week. I check it all the time but still comes loose. Parts are very costly too. For travel it would be fine but is not holding up to regular use with a heavy lens.
