Constructed with Carbon Exact tubing, the GT2543L incorporates High Modulus carbon fiber in the lower leg sections. This innovative design not only enhances the tripod's diameter but also significantly increases its rigidity and strength, making it more robust than its predecessors.

A single simple unlocking ring under the column's upper disc frees the column while keeping the upper disc solidly in place on the tripod.
