This is the king of tripods for heavy weight lenses., My 500mm F4 lives on it. Easy to adjust, rock solid and perfect for road trips and studio work but too heavy for long distant air travel.

This tripod is just what I needed, it supports my D850 with a super telephoto with an absolute purpose. It is rock solid. The large diameter carbon fiber legs of the 5 series gives it awesome stability, and their four sections give it a great range of height (while also allowing for a smaller collapsed overall length to really ease handling on a short trek). It is absolutely ideal for its intended purpose.
