This bag is worth every penny. This bag is built solid with with enough padding to protect your equipment. The bag has enough room to put in a complete tripod with an attached monoball. This is one of the best bags bare none.

Shoulder strap is to thin, barely padded, and cuts into one's shoulder. Also, the carrying strap handle is not padded, it does not fill the hand and the velcro is cheap. Not the quality that Gitzo should deliver for a [$]. There are better, less expensive choices. On the plus side the fit anf finish are very good, and the case seems to be of a good quality material.

Very expensive, but the materials seem to be of good quality. Fit and finish are great. I carry and store a Gitzo GT3541XLS with foam leg protectors and a Markins M20 ballhead. The fit is outstanding. However, the shoulder strap is to thin and poorly padded. Considering what Gitzo charges they should supply much more padding and a wider strap to spread out the weight. Also, the velcro on the hand strap is of very cheap quality and the hand straps are to small/thin to fill the hand. There are cheaper and better alternatives.

I bought this at the same time as my GT3541LS as I wanted to ensure I would have adequate and appropriate protection for my lifetime investment. The material and construction is top notch and worth the cost. I would be happy to stack this in a production truck and not worry about damage to my tripod legs or Arca-Swiss p0 ball head. There is also room for the spiked feet kit.

Was worried this tripod bag would be too long for my Gitzo 2541EX. Fits beautifully with my RRS ball head mounted. Still a little room left over on the length but only a couple of inches or so. Very happy with fit, construction, and quality. Not bulky, well padded.

Bought this case to hold a new GT3541. It fits comfortably with a ball head installed and tripod + head are well protected. Appreciate the quality zipper on this case!
