Great Shoulder Strap
Great addition - I only wish I had purchased this sooner! Makes toting my Studex easy.

The Gitzo Shoulder Strap
If you have a Gitzo tripod, in particular, this strap is made to fit. Walking out into the world is much easier with your hands free. As an aide to traveling, i would whole heartedly recommend this item for its wide padded shoulder area and the simplicity to cinch and un-cinch the legs on the fly.
I have a motto, buy the best and cry once. This would be the one. I own three Gitzo's, two of which are carbon fiber and i have this strap on the traveler and the larger carbon one.
I think this will make you happy and reduce your fatigue,
Been a Gitzo customer for 50 years, been to the factory in France and I think i've said enough. Buy it!

This product worked as advertised, I am satisfied and would recommend it. The instructions were vague. I had to spend a fair amount of time figuring out how to use it and am still not sure I am using it totally correctly..

Best investment I've made in a long time
Use this wonderful strap on a Gitzo G1325 tripod for hiking 5 or 6 kilometres over a 4 or 5 hour period complete with belt system and digital or film cameras. Find it works best on the left shoulder rather than the right when carrying the tripod because of the shape of the padding on the strap. Would have been better if made to use universally on either shoulder. May be able to reverse the padding but could be difficult. Apart from that, the strap if fantastic.

This strap was a real disappointment, especially coming from Gitzo. Its connections are hokey, and it just wouldn't work for me. I returned it.

Great product
Great product. I don't go into the field without it. When adjusted properly it is very comfortable and secure. Have used other slings but this is the only one where I've never had a problem with the tripod swinging around.

A real back and shoulder saver
If this was just a little easier to attach the first time I would have given it a 5 star rating. It's that good. Make sure you talk to Gitzo before buying to find out which model you need. My retailer was going to selll me the wrong one till I checked with Gitzo.
