I have to admit, after being a professional broadcast announcer for over 50 years, I was blown away when I plugged the H&A 50 microphone in. I'm use to doing production with a ribbon or condenser mic depending on the commercial. The HA50 had a superb sound that's UN-BEATABLE. Crisp clear highs, rich mid-tones and super sounding bass. This microphone is a definite must have for those wanting true to life sound for broadcast use, voice-overs, commercials...you name it. This mic is in a class all to itself!

Hums when the low cut is engaged.... My voice is too low to go with the low cut. On the flat setting the sound is very nice but to much rumble-- Sadly, I will have to shop for a different Dynamic... Maybe the new AT2040 Dynamic Mic.

Amazing deal on a great broadcast and podcast microphone. These are a fantastic deal and comparable to more expensive microphones.

Bought two on sale. Use them for podcasts and Webcasts. Was worried about quality for the price, but for my application they work great.

Literally a steal at $99. The build quality seems to be where the cost cutting comes in, as the mic is lightweight and made from tinny aluminum, so it's very prone to noise from table bumps and touching the mic. But, put it on a boom or in a shock mount, and it's gold for 99 bucks. Comparable to a rode procaster.
