I have to admit, after being a professional broadcast announcer for over 50 years, I was blown away when I plugged the H&A 50 microphone in. Best budget podcasting mic NEW TITLE HOLDER
Literally a steal at $99. The build quality seems to be where the cost cutting comes in, as the mic is lightweight and made from tinny aluminum, so it's very prone to noise from table bumps and touching the mic. But, put it on a boom or in a shock mount, and it's gold for 99 bucks. Comparable to a rode procaster.
