Very little magenta cast. Very accurate 10 stop rating. Slight vignette in the corners. How I tested. I set up my D850 camera with a 17-35mm f/2.8 Tamron lens set at 17mm 3 feet in front of white seamless paper. I placed 2 Einstien lights bare bulb on either side of the camera. At the lowest power setting using an incedent flash meter to set the reading at f/4 - ISO 100 across the image as best I could and took a control shot. I then added the M10 filter holder using the 77mm mounting ring, added the ND filter and increased the output of the Einstien flash units by 8 stops, and increased the ISO to 400 for a combined 10 stop adjustment. I then took another image with the ND filter in place. I imported both images into LightRoom. Using the reference image feature to compare the exposure values. Center values are within 0.5% Edge values are within 3.0% Corner Values are within 6.0% First I can say there is using the M10 holder there is NO corner cutting or gross vignette like I get when stacking round filters. There is a slight magenta cast in the corners, and can be removed with a -2 adjustement to the tint slider. Accurate, effective and glass so it will not distort the way a resin filter can.

Two things to look for in buying a ND filter is price and that the filter is multi coated. The Haida filter is priced much better than similar filters plus most of the other filters are not multi coated. It should be an easy decision

Bring your photography to the next level with the Haida NanoPro MC 100x100mm Neutral Density 1.2X (16) Multi Coated Glass Filter. This high-quality and durable filter is designed to effectively control the amount of light entering your camera lens, making it a versatile tool for a variety of lighting conditions.
Engineered with a multi-coated coating, this neutral density filter significantly reduces reflections and glare, enhancing image quality and contrast. This feature sets it apart from other filters in the market that may lack this advanced coating technology.
Furthermore, the Haida NanoPro MC 100x100mm Neutral Density 1.2X (16) Multi Coated Glass Filter is designed with rounded edges. This unique feature helps to minimize flare and further improve the overall quality of your images. Unlike filters with sharp edges, this design reduces unwanted reflections, ensuring your images maintain their clarity and quality.
With a density of 1.2 (4 stops), this filter reduces the amount of light entering the lens by 4 stops. This makes it an invaluable tool in bright conditions, allowing for a wider aperture and faster shutter speed. Conversely, in low light conditions, it enables a slower shutter speed and wider aperture without overexposing the image.
Easy to use and effective, the Haida NanoPro MC 100x100mm Neutral Density 1.2X (16) Multi Coated Glass Filter is an essential addition to any photographer's toolkit, whether you're a professional or an enthusiast. Experience the difference in your photography with this superior, multi-coated glass filter.
