Haida M10 100mm Filter Holder System with 67mm Adapter Ring

This is a really slick filter system. The fact that you can use it on lenses up to 95mm in diameter is very convenient and makes it more versatile than most other filter systems. The adapter rings are a bit overpriced in my opinion, but most of my lenses are 77mm, and only two of them are larger than than. I bought this one with the 82mm adapter, only because it was a used/open box item greatly reduced in price, but in new condition. I've purchased the 77mm and 86mm adapters rings, and will purchase the 95mm if necessary. The square filters fit very snugly, so no worry about them falling out. Out of the box you can use two square filters at once, but it comes with additional hardware to allow for three, and that transition is very easy. The drop in filter feature is incredibly useful, and it works really well. My kit came with a CPL, but I look forward to getting a couple more. They slip in with no effort, but they are held securely, and remove easily. There are felt-like strips that help to hold the square filters, as well as cutting down on light leak. There's also a drop-in "blank" that helps to cut down on light leak, if using only square filters. The method of attachment between the adapter rings and the system is a little clunky, but most filter systems seem to be, just each in their own way. In this respect, my preference is the K&F Concept filter system. Regardless, it's not a major issue that detracts from the overall usefulness of this system. The storage/carrying case is semi-rigid and compact, so it offers a fair degree of protection without being too bulky. The moulded interior helps to keep the system nested while in transport. It would be nice if it was a little thicker with a couple of sleeves so that more drop-in filters could be held, but I'll probably be buying a case that can hold the system and some 100mm x 150mm filters. All in all, this filter system is designed well. It allows integration of round filters with square filters, without losing time and having to put a lot of effort into modifying your setup.

I was a little concerned that this my be more gimmic than functional. I was wrong... This is a great innovative design with a slide in filter slot that makes using polarizers a breeze. The unit is solid and machined from aluminum with black anodized surface. The filter holder rails squeeze from the sides and hold the filters without touching the optical surfaces. There is a built in ring of light blocking fabric inlaid on the face of the ring which also prevents the filter in the first slot from 1) scratching and 2) letting in light during long exposures. The drop in filter slot is a great feature... it is easy peasy to change from using a CPL to Solid ND and/or GND or any combination with up to 3 square and 1 round filter. This holder was mounted on my Tamron 17-35mm with absolutely NO vignette.... I even put a solid Hoya 6 stop round ND filter between the M10 mounting ring and the lens and still had NO vignette at 17mm. The Sony, Nikon or Canon 16-35 may be different but this works flawlessly with the Tamron. I also like that there are dedicated rings at each size instead of using step-up rings like Nisi. I also purchased 3,6,10 solid ND and a 3 stop soft GND Nanopro filters from Haida and they are great quality. Highly recommeded

This is the first filter system I have bought. Even with the filter adapter on the lens, you can still put your lens cap on. The description says "M10 Filter Holder with 2 x 100mm filter slots" but it actually comes with the pieces to add a 3rd filter slot, and a small phillips, and flathead screwdriver! That's amazing! The filter went in and out without any issues. The filter system oges on and off without any issues. I really like the ease of use and versatility of the system.
