Ordered this lapel mic to use with my Rode wireless mic kit, it not only out performed my other microphone it also fit better than my current one. nice noise filter and solid quality. I will be ordering another for backup

H&A HA-OM - Microphone - best I've used for professional audio and interviews

good value!

I was very surprised by the sound from the little H&A lav mic. I got it while on a Deal Of The Day special and now wish I had ordered two.

I took a chance purchasing the mic with the idea that I could have a backup lav to keep sanitized and on hand for filming during the pandemic. The connection fits my Zoom F2-BT and Tascam DR-10L, and looks almost identical to the one that came packaged with the Tascam recorder. 

What I wasn't prepared for was the quality of the H&A compared to the Zoom and Tascam mics. I tested all three on each of the recorders, listened to them over and over, and I preferred the H&A over the other two lav mics.

I am partial to the smaller form factor with a mesh wire grill and metal alligator clip over the design of the mic included with the Zoom F2 (which uses a plastic clip and a much larger foam windscreen). It's not going to be as amazing as something you pay hundreds of dollars for, but it was a pleasant surprise and on my budget, a great find.
