Hauppauge Quad-TV Tuner with Plex Media Server - Ubuntu 20.04

I've been using the Hauppauge Quad-TV Tuner on a Plex Media Server running Ubuntu 20.04 for a couple of weeks and it is performing very well. We have 2 OTA digital TV channels in our area with towers only 9 degrees apart and only 1 channel difference (6 MHz difference). One of the towers is further away and transmits a weaker signal. But this tuner has had no problem bringing in both stations. One thing that I didn't anticipate is that it appears that the quad tuner effectively acts like a quad splitter before the signal goes to the 4 tuners. So, it seems to require a stronger signal than what a single or dual tuner would require. I will need to add a distribution amplifier in place of a normal splitter in my setup.

Digital, not Analog.

Seemed to be a quality product both hardware and software but was not compatible with analog TV signal.

Cord cutter must have

OK. So I had given up on getting this but Dell came through and got it to me. Works fantastic! A must have for cord cutters out there. 4 channel dvr in your pc Awesome. Great product.

Easy to install, easy to use.

Easy to install, easy to use. Comes with WinTV 10, with a programming guide. The programming guide is not perfect, but it's free. WinTV10 has some improved recording settings over older versions (automatic pre and post padding, etc.).
