The Hamilton Buhl LCP/HACX205/MS2L 6 User CD/MP3 Listening Center provides you with a terrific way for up to 6 users to enjoy audio for group learning. The system includes an HACX-205 CD/MP3 player, 6 sets of MS2L headphones, an 8-user jackbox and a durable plastic carrying case.

The HACX-205 features a top-loading CD player that supports standard audio CDs, as well as CD-R and CD-RW discs loaded with MP3 files. There's also a USB port that lets you play MP3 files from a USB flash drive. The stylish design features a backlit LCD track display, a 3 W amplifier and an integrated speaker. There are 3.5 mm and 1/4" headphone jacks for connecting the included jackbox and you can also connect a small external speaker. For added durability and convenience, the HACX-205 has anti-skip technology and digital push-button volume controls. It can be powered with its 6 V wall power adapter or with a set of 4 "C" batteries for terrific versatility.

Each set of MS2L headphones has large cobalt drivers to provide quality audio. They also have Hamilton's exclusive patented ASM technology, allowing the headphones to automatically detect whether they are plugged into a mono or stereo audio source. This lets you plug into any piece of audio equipment without worrying about damaging ears or equipment. The headphones have a standard 3.5 mm mini plug and a 1/4" adapter for use with all types of audio gear. The headphones have an adjustable headband to fit any head size and the washable leatherette ear cushions provide comfortable listening. The single-sided cable minimizes snags and tangles. Each set has its own heavy-duty re-sealable bag, which kills lice without chemicals in 24-48 hours. The bags can be written on for easy identification.

The jackbox is a compact unit that connects to the headphone jack of the boombox. It then splits the audio signal to 8 individual 1/4" headphone jacks, each of which has its own volume control. The extra headphone jacks make it easy to add additional sets of headphones to the system later on. The durable plastic storage case has enough room to safely store all of the components of the listening system. It has a toolbox-style design with secure clasps to prevent accidental opening. There is also a padlock hole, so you can add a lock to prevent unauthorized access. A folding handle on the top of the box provides convenient portability.
