VLC-1L VM35 Lens Control System
This Heden VLC-1 VM35 kit is set up for standalone use on Sony FS5/FS7, or any camera with a third-party LANC controller.

With pre-mounted lens brackets the VM35 motor is easily moved from lens to lens within seconds, without tools. The bracket for mounting on 15 mm rods gives further options. The VLC-1L with adjustable top speed, override function and ramping make it an ideal tool for smooth and precise operation in high, or low, speeds.

The VLC - Versatile Lens Control system - for any camera
The new Heden lens control system was developed with the user in mind. We created a flexible system to meet new demands and the same system can be used to control either zoom, focus or iris. The 99 position top speed limit is easily adjustable from the hand grip or on the controller in order to optimize both creeping slow zoom or very quick movements, with precise control.

The motor override function lets the operator manually move the lens by hand in parallel with motor control without losing calibration. The system works stand alone on any camera with 3:rd party LANC controller or integrated with the Smartgrip on Sony FS5/FS7/FS7II by LANC protocol. Flexible controller positioning allows for good weight distribution.

Silent, low weight and flexible. Adjustable torque, speed and of course with automatic calibration. The controller power cable has a PTAP connector. If V-lock batteries are used there is normally D-tap out available.

Brackets
The bracket is designed to be attached to 15mm rods, we also have tailored lens brackets for specific lenses. Currently we offer the following brackets:

• VM35 MK Single Zoom Bracket - Zoom on Fujinon MK 18-55 and MK 50-135
• VM35 MK Zoom Focus Bracket - Double bracket for Zoom and Focus on Fujinon MK 18-55 and MK 50-135
• VM35 XK Single Zoom Bracket - Zoom on Fujinon XK 20-120

- VM35-256 Motor 256-3.3k -
A digital zoom or focus motor that mounts horizontally on the lens using lens brackets or traditionally mounted on a rod using the 15mm rod mount. We have created a small, light, very powerful and fast digital zoom motor where we kept the esthetics and quality of our legendary M26T zoom motor. The VM35 was developed as part of the VLC-1L for LANC control. With a standard 7 pin connector it can be used for many different applications and controllers.

- VLC-1L Mk1 LANC controller (MK1) -
The Heden VLC-1L Mk1 LANC controller connects to any third-party controller using LANC. It was originally developed for Sony FS5/FS7/ FS7II and is controlled with the zoom-rocker on the Smart Grip. The integrated motor override function allows the operator manual control of the lens in parallel with the motor without losing calibration. The ramping function allows smooth acceleration. The 99 position top speed limit is easily adjustable in order to optimize both creeping slow zoom or very quick movements, with precise control. Flexible controller positioning allows for good weight distribution.
