It accepts either an AES or S/PDIF digital audio stream and generates four identical AES outputs, ensuring your audio reaches its destination in its purest form. What sets this system apart is its zero-delay technology. It is 100% bit-accurate and transparent to the source, adding absolutely no delay or latency to the signal. This feature is critical for professional audio applications where timing is everything, such as live performances, broadcasting, and post-production.The AES input and all four AES outputs are individually transformer balanced and isolated from ground, ensuring the highest quality audio transmission. The S/PDIF input signal is converted to an AES standard level and source impedance, providing compatibility with a wide range of audio devices.The AES Digital DA 2x4 is designed for easy installation with quick XLR connectors. Pin 1 is connected to the AC "safety" ground, while the S/PDIF input is via an RCA connector with the shield isolated from the AC ground. No user adjustments or calibration is necessary, making it a truly plug-and-play device. A blue "Signal" LED confirms the presence of an input signal, providing visual confirmation of operation. The device is powered with a built-in AC power supply, which can be set by the user to operate on either 115 or 230 volts AC.
