Questions & Answers

CHRISTINA C : Will this work with the Sony A350? Looking to purchase as a gift and want to make sure it is compatible.GREG G : It certainly will, I use it on an A-77 and an A-700 I have used this for time lapse movies as long as 6 hours, star trails photos, remote shutter release for birds and more. I have even programmed it to start taking pics while I'm still asleep and then driving to work of flowers opening in the morning light and then combining those into a timelapse. Once you figure out the settings, you can do really neat stuff. I love it.GREG B : I am not sure if it works with Sony A350 but it works with my Sony A77.MARK S : I purchased this for my A850. The A350 has the same hot shoe and remote control connector as the A850 so using it will not be a problem. One word of caution. This unit eats batteries so make sure your battery is fully charged and it is best to have a second battery on hand. Other than that it works pretty well.
Shopper : will this work with the new sony rx1?GREG B : I bought this and it works great with my sony A77 and A700 but I have not tried on a sonyrx1.
Shopper : Does this work with a Sony a33? Somewhere it says so and other places not..PEACEFUL PLACES P : I don't know for sure. It works well with my A350, so unless Sony changed their connector it should. I can say that if it doesn't Adorama has always been good about returns with me.ANDREW R : Yes, according to the manufacturer this unit should work with the A33.

works well, eats batteries

This remote works well. Being radio controlled it does not need line of sight to work. I use it when I need to not be seen, or when taking self pics. It does however eat batteries, when not in use. Seems that when it is in my bag, and if its not on my camera its in my bag, the buttons on the transmitter get depressed and the battery goes dead. It is a pain to change the transmitter battery. I take it apart and remove the battery when not in use, however I'm looking for a hard case for it so I wont need to. I've also found that while using it it will shut itself off at inopportune times, like just before that wary little bird poke his head back out.

Must have for going on sightseeing tours

Easy and simple to use. I finally can include myself on most of our sightseeing tour pictures instead of asking someone to take picture of me and my wife.

A great photo tool!

Works just fine and I have used for time lapse shots and wireless nature shots. Only downside is the poorly written instruction manual! Experimenting with the various features/settings while attached to your camera, is the best way to learn all the functions.

Works As Advertised

Good low cost generic wireless solution with other camera cable options. Worked as expected out of the box with no issues. You might have to read over the manual repeatedly until it sinks in but I had no problems doing that. It can be used wired or wireless. It is flexible and line of sight is not required for wireless. It will be most useful for wireless trigger, wildlife, self-timing and intervalometer, and time lapse photography.
