Simply adjust the magnification setting to match your ballistics, and the reticle can be used for yards or meters depending on the setting. Zero your rifle at 200 yards/meters using the marker in the center of the reticle, and use the holdover markers for distances of 300, 400, and 500. For closer distances, use the top of the post above the center.
