I got the Esquire Mini as a birthday present a few years ago and been using it since. Excellent audio quality with stable and fast connection to my Windows 10 PC, couldn't really ask for more. Bonus points for looking sleek and classy and being relatively light-weight so it's also easy to carry around for travels.

Unit, Blue tooth and volume all did not work very soon after buying it. ,Jabra my bother gave us, though a bigger to carry has out lasted the mini, in all environments.

I just had this speaker for about two weeks, PROS: 1 excellent quality on materials. 2) speaker looks as a luxury product. CONS: 1) Sound is not that good, speaker start distortion sound at middle volume level, not to say higher levels. Not common for a harman kardon speaker, I have another couple of HK products and the sound is just amazing at any volume level. I don't know what's wrong, may be the speakers are loose or not properly secure and start making that distortion sound when increase the volume.

I bought these speakers a while ago and did not use them much. Suddenly the sound quality got bad and it looks like one of the speakers got burnded.

Sounds great for the size. For a small speaker the sound is very good. Once setup, turn it on and it automatically connects to your device so you can play music quickly! It's small, use it while working around the house, will travel with it for hotels, beach, ect.

I was given the Esquire Mini as a gift and really enjoyed it. It's roughly two years old now and the battery life is down to about 90 minutes due to continual use. Harmon/Kardon won't sell a replacement battery. They say I need to buy a new Unit!

i been using this for over a year, and it was working great with my iPhone and Windows PC. I upgraded to Windows 10, and it stop parring. I uploaded all the drivers, spoke to HK support, and still nothing. The HK support was horrible by the way. If you want to use it for your phone, I give it 3.5 stars. If you plan on using this with your Windows 10 laptop - forget it.. I give it zero starts if I could.

The Esquire Mini is a sleek looking speaker offering great sound quality for individual use and small gatherings. I have been using the mini for seven months now after receiving it as a Christmas gift last year. Visually the speaker lives up to the Harman Kardon branding, but I am now experiencing issues with its audio performance; the unit is losing connection if my phone isn't right next to the speaker (the sounds starts breaking up or just stops completely. This issue began approximately a month or two ago.) It's quite annoying.

The unit looks nice. It's slim and the padded back looks really nice; but that about the only thing good about this device. Sound is horrible at any volume above low. Bass is non-existent and pops if you turn it up the slightest. The unit has a bad tendency of powering itself off at the most inopportune times and battery life is so sub-par that I have to keep it plugged in to get it past an hour or so. The only plus is the mic - which seems to work great; but for the price I can deal with my Laptop's mic. I purchased this a few years back because of the name; but.. well I guess harmon-kardon has taken a nose dive in quality over the years.

I have enjoyed this wi-fi speaker while it worked. Speaker blown, rattling, very poor sound now. Handled it very carefully throughout time I have owned it. (A little over two years) Attempted calling service/warranty number and got someone in the Philippines that I could not understand. Asked for someone in the States and was told that is not an option at this time. Took it to Sprint where I purchased it and was told it had a one year warranty and that Sprint no longer carries Harman Kardon. I thought buying a product from "Harman Kardon" would ensure a quality product that would not fail as so many other cheap wi-fi speakers do. Very disappointed. Will not be purchasing from Harman Kardon again.

I loved this speaker, it was perfect for me. But about an hour in, the sound quality declined, became garbled and distorted. I contacted customer service, they asked me to do a reset, which didn't help. They offered to replace the item, but it would have taken over two weeks total, including a 5-8 processing time. I offered to pay for another speaker in the meantime, so I wouldn't have to wait. I really would have liked to use this great speaker, but I think it's not ok to make me wait that long, and also not trust my word. Amazon, for example, ships a replacement right away, even before you returned the defective item.

Purchased for wife as portable speaker and speakerphone. She didn't use it, so I inherited it. Sound and battery are both good. And, speakerphone seems to be very effective. No sign of hollow echoes or background noise that you'd find in less expensive models. Support for SIRI is good, but would like to have audible interaction a la Amazon Echo Dot and the option to manage songs/tracks directly from the device. First one I bought from amazon speakers sounded blown, I ended up at the Harmon store trying to exchange it, ending up buying one directly from them, and returning the amazon one... only to have it sound like blown again. Also the battery percentage doesn't show on iPhone

The Esquire Mini is good. It has a cord that connects to a USB port which is what I needed for traveling and it definitely looks great and sounds good, though it lacks bass, a lot. I am an avid music listener and this gadjet sounded great for the first month. Then, the sound coming out of it became distorted, at first only at high volume, now at any volume. I am extremely disappointed.
