The 'settings' section of the app is nothing more than a sales pitch for several streaming sites. App could not be worse. I'll never buy anything Harmon Kardon again. They are living off of past performance.

The HK Omni 10 Speakers & HK controller app are TERRIBLE..... Very expensive system and really not worth a penny. Super disappointed with the poor connection with both WIFI and Bluetooth. The sound is good or maybe great considering their size, but when you try to connect these speakers, oh man, it's a nightmare. The app is lousy, no router uses WPS so you cannot connect them with the press of a button. When you stream music through Bluetooth to multiple speakers there is a delay on the sound. Overall, really bad product, I rerally wish I bought something else.

I bought this over a year and half ago, and it still holds up. It has great sound, looks very clean. It sits in the kitchen, plays from my iPhone and MacBook (bluetooth) no problem. As for the app, I avoid setting up the wifi. I found the app to be very frustrating and a waste. It was very confusing using. So I reset it and used it without it. Its still a great speaker.

This little spaeker has a great sound. I have two of them, and suddenly I couldn't play them together via wifi. I can only play one at a time via Bluetooth. Something surely gone wrong with the software. They now have been in the Harman repair place for over 5 month. Harman will not admit that they have an error.The store, I bough them in, and I have tried everything possible to fix the problem, but it can only be the speakers as the problem. So now the store has given up on Harman, and they offered me a new different speaker on their behalf. 5 stars to Expert, Denmark, but 1 star to Harman. 3 stars in total due to the sound.

It worked great for a few months. But then it started to pick up this terrible static sound that wouldn't go away even with unplugging it or restarting it. The bluetooth connection between the speaker and my phone worked fine. Until one day, it didn't. It refused to pair with the phone. So I ended up breaking the speaker into a million pieces by throwing it multiple times onto my concrete floor. Its an expensive piece of junk that only works for about 1 year. BUY SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

Bought omni 10 this month and im very impressed with the sound. Just seems to have a problem with the passive radiator coz when I play low frequency basses at high volumes, the plastic passive radiator cover creates that wobbling or shaking " plastic sound". Is it normal in omni 10? Coz I have an omni 20 and it does not have an issue like that. Thanks!

I bought the Omni 10 last week and have been using it non-stop it feels like. The sound quality is amazing for $200, and the bass is perfect. It is crystal clear, and very easy to connect to Bluetooth, but I haven't tried the app yet.

The sound quality is superb and the bass is beyond great. However, the Bluetooth pairing may not be the best thing about it, not to mention the relatively short distance you need to be at in order to maintain functionality. Other than that, this is a one good speaker. Oh, and it doesn't support phone calls, which is depressing to be honest

Pros: Sound quality is incredible, even for the bass notes. It rates very high on usability too - if you link speakers, they stay linked unless you power them off or unlink manually. If you pair a device, you can directly connect to the speaker without touching the speaker at all - start listening to great music without even getting out of bed! Linked speakers are always, without exception, in sync with the music. The newest version of the app is very well designed and instills faith that the company knows what it's doing. Setting the speakers up for WiFi through the app is pretty easy in most cases (at least as easy as it can be when something as unreliable as a WiFi is involved). Last but not the least, the speakers look amazing! Very, very good product design. Makes one feel proud to own these. Cons: For iOS users, owning multiple Omnis is a pain when trying to figure out which one to connect to on Bluetooth because they're all called "HK OMNI 10" - no way to rename these, even through the controller app. A very, very big drawback; one that almost drove me to return the product: You CANNOT WATCH MOVIES IF YOU CONNECT MULTIPLE OMNIS TOGETHER. There will be an audio delay of about 3-5 seconds, making watching anything on the TV impossible. These speakers are good for music only. Very sad to have discovered this horrible drawback. Making do with using just one of my 2 Omnis when I use them to watch something.

First the positive thing, the sound quality is really good. The problem are the negatives. The recently updated app still does not have support for Apple Music, Spotify, DLNA or NAS integration. The system in general is a good idea but the execution is terrible. How can you not support the most used streaming services, while other brands with the same kind of system do support this? Once these issues are fixed it will be a very good product, but at this moment it is terrible. Beautiful sound, but no way you can hear it because playing your music through it that is stored on a NAS or through spotify is not possible...

I bought two Omni 10's yesterday at Target and an Adapt today. The sound quality from the speaks is excellent for their size and price. I like that you can use the wifi with the app, bluetooth, and the aux input. The party mode works great too. I read some reviews where they said it did not but it works for me every time. The app has a good design also, and is easy to use. The only improvements that I would like to see Pandora, Google Play Music, and Spotify added to the app so they work with party mode. I've never heard of the services in the app. One feature that I have trouble with is using the "Bluetooth forwarding". This is where you connect to one speaker via Bluetooth, and then tap the button on another speaker and the sound is sent via wifi form the Bluetooth speaker to the other one. It initially works, but then freezes and the speakers become unresponsive and I have to unplug and plug them back in. Hopefully a software update will resolve that.

I have 3 Omni 10's and 2 Omni 20's. Great sound, very easy to connect all speakers together. App controller can use a redesign. I would expect a better controller app from Harmon/Kardon as I have loved their systems for years. I have a set of the noise cancelling head phones as well and the Harmon/Kardon design and sound is excellent. I hope that Harmon/Kardon hears the cries for help from their customers and upgrades the app. Thank you Harmon/Kardon for superb products that sounds amazing!

I got one of these speakers as a gift. I love the sound it. It's small and slick. High quality on the audio. Easy to setup with Bluetooth. But the only complaint I have on this is how the power cord is position on the speakers. I could it breaking pretty easily if the cord was pulled or if it fell. The Harman kardon app isn't perfect. It doesn't have Pandora on it. "More music app to come" from what the app says. But I can just Bluetooth the app. Hopefully the updated app will run a lot better. Over all I would tell my friends and family about this product. I'll be recommending this speakers to my customer too.

Love the speaker sound and look and price is decent as well. Its the app that brings this score down. After loading the app I found a very limited amount of music I couldn't use my full ITunes library not sure why but couldn't. The streaming options are also poor. The biggest disappointment is that there is no guidance on what or how to use the app. Bluetooth seemed to work well but I couldn't go back an fourth between that and the wireless. I'm returning these because they are not easy or user friendly to use. just want something to plug and play.

I still not believe that the app hasn't improved at all. I cannot believe that the room-group and bluethooth re-transfer via wireless can only be between same omni. So as I have an omni 20 and one omni 10, I cannot hear spotify via bluetooth and retransfer to the other one. Nevertheless, excellent speakers, sound quality is awesome.
