Expensive, but worth ever penny

I love this setup. Traveling by air with the Hensel is a joy, due to size & weight. Perfect for locations. Built like a tank, consistant & beautiful color. A lot of top outdoor pros are now using this rig. We previously used Profoto exclusivley, but now carry two Hensel units on all location jobs. Hensel has some cool accessories too. Now, If only they would make a 2400 lithium setup!

Great piece of equipment!

This is a great piece of equipment.Good output, fast recharge and most of all, you can plug the battery in, while inserted in the pack, and shoot AC powered. No need to buy one of those expensive "AC adapters". The flash duration will freeze any movement, once you buy the SPEED head (the head that comes with the kit is NOT the speed head, make sure you demand that one if flash duration is important to you)As for the head attachments, there's plenty of them, and they come cheap online (I found a few on [...],like a snoot with grid and color gels for 30$)In conclusion, I feel very satisfied by this kit.

The Hensel Porty 12 Lithium power pack can provide a very short flash duration of 1/5100 second at half power. This kit includes the power pack, charger/transformer, 16.5' (5 m) detachable head cable and 3604 EH Pro Mini Speed Flash Head. Digital processors ensure your power is really there before you fire.
It provides power to yours flash heads, asymmetrically in power ratios of 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3. The included transformer/Quick Charger is multi-voltage, auto-sensing. If used as a power source with your AC main supply, the slow recycle selection must be made.
