Exceeded Expectations
I wanted something for my live stream service and this came in time for a wedding. It was in an open room so I wasn't worried about the signal, but the easy to use setup process provided peace of mind for a high responsibility day. I plan on buying more of these in the future as my live stream service grows.

The little transmitter that could
Outstanding equipment that exceeded the specifications. Performed very well indoors through glass control booth window and through heavy air walls. Extremely low latency. Case, which was a sales bonus is ideal for transport.

Viable alternative to the more expensive options. (Usually)
My only regret is not getting the one that has SDI as well as HDMI. Sometimes there is some artifacts on the left side, but I haven't done enough troubleshooting to know what causes it. It's not consistently present.

Absolutely Better Than Advertised!
This is a "Get More Than Expected" product. The specs are all at "Worse Case Scenario" results, based off of my real word testing phase, proved much bette results. I am transmitting the incoming video onto a Jumbotron Device, 50' Diagonal 16:9 format. From the booth to the screen we use Fiber, which helps, and there is no obvious delay to the "Human Eye" ! We have booth mounted rigs, but the Mars 300 changed everything! We now have an "Field" based rig with the Mars 300 Transmitter in the cold shoe of the camera. The batteries seem to last forever (Factory Sony Only). No issues even with Student Based Apprenticeship Volunteers. I highly recommend & you'll enjoy a low Budget impact.as well (Because you most likely need Miscellaneous Stuff like Short 6-10" cables...)

Latency is not good!
The Mars 300 is only good if you want to use it as a wireless Director's Monitor. If you plan on focus pulling, don't buy this! The latency is pretty bad. The image is very clear and it's reliable but it has a huge amount of lag. I bought the first one when it came out then I returned it. Hollyland said that they had a latency fix so I bought a second copy. I tried the fix and the latency was still bad so I returned that one also. I preordered the 400S. I hope that the latency is fixed with this version.

Only Good As A Directors Monitor
This Transmission System is only good to use as a Directors monitor. If you're trying to pull focus with a HD Transmission device, do not get the Mars 300. It has too much latency. I bought this device twice and returned it both times. They said that they had a fix for the latency so I bought it a second time. It had the same latency. It had 12 FPS latency. That's too much for focus pulling so I returned it again.

Worked great
Worked great in a large venue. Was very happy with it. It did glitch for a little bit but I believe it was the hdmi cable. Thumbs up!!
