This is the perfect purchase if someone nearby needs to see what you are shooting. They don't have to sit or stand right behind you anymore! Also perfect if you have a second shooter and they need to see what you're doing, so they can get a different composition. This receiver/transmitter set contains one AC power supply, so you need to have at least one Sony NP battery (or another AC power supply).

I use this for indoor events and use this on my 2nd or 3rd camcorder that is on wheels (tripod on wheels) for capturing different angles.. It works great for large auditoriums and I always kept the receiver and transmitter in line of sight. I have not tested this across walls but, the range I get is really good. I have used it in event halls where the receiver and transmitter have been placed over 300 ft away. I primarily use this for mixing for live-streaming

Works well, If your going thru a fast speed , say car chasing scene I would recommend mounting the receiver closer to the source

A must have for DP's... sometimes the signal drops, but not often enough to be a problem... worst case, just turn off then on. Works right out of the box, just attach the antennas

Love these transmitters. I use them for reference monitoring on on Sumo 19. It?s only streams in 1080 FYI.

Overall I think this is a great unit. I have 2 receivers and it?s a god send to not have to run cables all over auditoriums. Pros - Convenience, They work through concrete walls. Cons - No loop out on transmitter / Delay is just noticeable enough to be an issue for discerning ears.

Super great unit. Latency is really not that bad especially if you are using SDI. There is slight latency via HDMI and that is manageable. Overall great product that I would definitely buy again. If you want to keep client/Director from breathing down your neck to look at picture on camera - this is the product for you!
