It’s the real deal. Tried many others... probably have 50 flights using this drone hood... no problems.. holds up well.. used it with a chest harness... many evolutions in and out of the car and packing it across rural fields. Not one problem

If you want to operate a UAV outside, be able to see your tablet screen, and not drop hundreds of $ to get a daylight viewable monitor, then this is what you need.

I have purchased several of the Chinese designed iPad hoods for my DJI radio controllers. They were all junk including the ones with glorified suction cups. The Hoodman design uses elastic straps, sits on the top of the iPad allowing full access to connectors and the on/off switch and it even has a side slot so you can actually use the touch pad and see what you are doing! And most importantly does not interfere with safely securing the iPad to the controller. It even has a safety strap to help secure the iPad!
