The built in display is nice. But...it can be hard to read in direct sunlight. This solves the problem!

I needed a hood for an iPhone X. Nobody had one including you .... but .. your team was Cool Enough to suggest a unit that you had in stock that might work with a little MacGyver action. Damn, It did a great job. It wasn't perfect but we got our shots. You guys RockTheHouse. HoodManSavesTheDay

I love this product but I think a way to possibly improve upon the desire would be to make the back solid so that the phone would actually slipped in from the top and fits snugly into place. And then put it all together like that it would fit right into the phone holder cradle on the controller. Another way to improve upon this design would be to make the finger hole on the bottom larger and have it covered with some type of split soft cover similar to a headband that goes on a woman’s hair.

Highly recommend the HAV6PKIT. I have tried different types of sunshades from other manufacturers. The HoodMan is the only one that has worked for me!

I sold my Phantom Vision 2, Vision 2+ and my Phantom 3 Pro mostly because I never could see my iPhone display and was certain that a larger monitor was not going to be of much help. I have since purchased a Spark and chose to utilize my iPhone 6 Plus with the HoodMan. I now fly in full sunlight and can readily see what I want to capture with video and still images. I can also see the readouts of all the data on screen. A HUGE help. The only negative I have, and it's very small, is the elastic straps are sewn off center. It still works great and the one concern I had, before purchase, was weather it would be bulky and move around too much. It is solid!
