My first observation was that the parcel was heavy and upon opening the pad, I found it to have a very heavy outer ring that will keep it on the ground in all conditions that are safe for flying. In addition, there are numerous places around the pad to insert tent pegs if really needed. Overall, a solid, well made item that should last a long time.
