I can keep my glasses on!!
Keeps the light out, even if i don't take my glasses off. Even though my diopter is adjust for my eyes without my glasses, sometimes i don't have time to remove them or i'd miss the shot. This allows me to shoot with or without them better than the factor eye piece. And it does a much better job of keeping additional light getting into the viewfinder.
