I have bought several Hoodman products over the years and all have been fantastic products for me. This new eyecup for the Nikon Z9 fits very well and attaches easily. It is far superior to the factory eyecup which quickly failed. I love this product. Would recommend and buy another as a spare.

Nice eyecup...the original fell off several times and then it was gone...this seems to "lock on" and should stay where it needs to be...plus it is better at shielding the eye from light.

This eyecup fixed the problem where other eyecups would block a portion of the LCD screen and hamper tilting the screen. With this eyecup no such problem.

Works great except it blocks the use of the flash show. You have to take it off to insert or remove the shoe cap.

Fit easily and securely on my Z6. Comfortable to use, even with my glasses. I believe it will also help reduce grime on viewfinder sensor that causes issue with the Z6 EVF functioning strangely. Waiting to see on that! Would recommend for other Z owners.

I use a Hoodman Eyecup on all of my cameras so I was looking forward to the release for the Z. The Z Eyecup is slightly snug, but it fits nicely with no risk of falling off. On the small Z6 body, the eyecup does stick out a little more than it does on other bodies, but not so much that it's a problem. The one issue is the hotshoe cover is blocked by the eyecup, so I needed to take off the eyecup to use a flash. I modified the hotshoe cover slightly to remove the lip, and now it can be mounted and removed without issue. I simply used heavy duty kitchen shears to trip the lip of the hotshoe cover. My SB-910 is a slightly tight fit, but it does fit with the eyecup in place without issue.

I am very happy with the new hoodman eye cup for the Nikon Z series, my only issue with it is that the top part of the eye cup gets in the way of hotshoe when trying to remove my on camera flash or flash triggers.

I was not sure what to expect with the new eye cup. I was not sure how it would affect the affect the sensor on the EVF. It works great and looks like it might be less apt to get dust and such messing it up like the OEM cup.

I replaced the original eyepiece on my Nikon Z6 with the new HoodEYE eyecup from Hoodman. It was easy to do and I am very happy with the new eyecup. Easier to block out the light. Feels like you can use the EVF much easier than before.
