Buyer beware! Not compatible with all SD card readers in Mac & PC

None of my macs will read these hoodman cards. First time I have ever had this issue. Better buy Belkin or some of the other well-proven SD cards.

Excellent memory card

Once Bill Rossi at Adorama recommended this to me and I tried it out for myself, I have been extremely pleased with the results and performance I have gotten from the Hoodman Memory cards. They are reliable, durable and reasonably priced.

Solidly Built

Hoodman memory cards hold up to the test. Although I handle my SD cards gently, other brands have cracked or separated. This one still looks, and functions, as good as new.

I have been using Hoodman RAW since 2007 and I have never had a single card failure or data loss with either the SD or CF cards. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for other top brands I have used. They are made in California and the company is a pleasure to deal with!

Hoodman's 16GB RAW STEEL SDHC Memory Card is a stellar storage solution designed to withstand the rigors of high performance photography and videography. While many flash cards can be on the more delicate side, Hoodman has included a few features to ensure that theirs is rigid and tough.

The card is steel-plated with a hard plastic exterior. In addition, it contains miniaturized chip-on board technology, instead of a PC-board like many other flash cards. Because this technology allows for more space inside the card, Hoodman has filled that space with an epoxy, so that the sensitive flash components are completely secure and insulated. In so doing, the epoxy both makes the card extremely rigid and water-proof.

Along with these extra protective measures, you still get the same superb SDHC performance that's synonymous with the Hoodman name. The card features a sustained write speed of up to 60MB/second, well-beyond the SDHC Class 10 minimum. When paired with today's high-end digital cameras or camcorders, this guarantees an extremely fast and consistent capture of photo and video.
