Deoxit was applied to the volume pot and all the pots on an old amp that had scratchy and stiff turning pots. a few minutes of working the controls and they were like new!

The pic of the product is the old style can which is desirable. I received the appalling new version with the pop-up delivery tube. This "new" version leaks all over as well as dispensing too much product at the same time. Result is a big mess. Great product, poor packaging.

I have an amateur radio transceiver that had functioned poorly for several years. I had gotten to the point where I had boxed it up, preparing to send it back to the factory for repairs. I used Deoxit on the internal contacts and it now functions perfectly. Outstanding product.

My old vintage cassette deck stopped running 10 years ago. Suddenly I'm in need of a tape deck to transfer those old tapes to digital. I don't want to buy a new or second system just to do this. I read about DeoXit and just tried without expectation. Somehow after spraying the mechanism and trying the tape deck it worked.

It makes no sense to me that this worked. I have a 12-year-old Harman Kardon DVD player. It stopped outputting video although audio and everything else worked. I took it apart, pushed pieces around, re-assembled it, and it still didn't work. I bought this DeOxIt, again took the DVD player apart, sprayed DeOxIt all over all the circuit boards, re-assembled it, and now it plays just fine!

This is simply the best electrical contact cleaner available - in my opinion. Not only does it have amazing cleaning abilities, but it also comes with a spray control nozzle which gives the user a level of accuracy you don't get with other spray products. On the down side, it is a little pricey, but worth every penny. Once you've used this cleaner I don't think you would go back to a cheaper alternative.

I recently purchased Deoxit D5 through Adorama and it was exactly as advertised and delivered quickly with no problems, kudos Adorama! However, I did not know there are 3 different types of Deoxit D5 and had I known I may have looked around for one of the others. The can lists: D5 - provides flushing action. DN5 - provides quick dry - non drip. D100 - no solvents. So pick the one best suited to you needs. The D5 works really well as a flushing deox agent and I will likely buy a can of the DN5 also.

Simply the finest product available to clean, protect, and enhance anything with switches, relays, contacts of any kind, potentiometers, interconnects. This stuff is the "Swiss Army Knife" of helpers for anything electrical. I use it on all my home and professional AV and musician gear. NOT for slider controls, use Caig's "FaderLube" for that purpose. And Adorama's price and customer service can't be beat. Just get some!

I have a couple of older stereo amplifiers that used to crackle and hiss. Along with the crackle and hiss the performance was unreliable and poor quality. The DeoxIT product took care of the crackle and hiss and somehow the cleaner contacts have produced better quality sound output. Very good product.

I live in a hot marine environment and part of my maintenance for electronic gear is to regularly disassemble and spray the connectors. This is the best product I've found for the job.
