Why do these things cost so much? And where are the 61XL color cartridges?
Some years ago I purchased a well-made, easy to understand and quality printer, the HP Envy 5530 printer, which still functions beautifully. Recently I tried to order my replacement 61XL ink cartridges, only to discover that the color cartridges no longer seem to be available. So now, in addition to the cartridges being ridiculously and inexplicably EXPENSIVE, I find that they're being made extinct, too. Several months ago I bought a new HP printer to see what the new versions are like, only to immediately return it because of the hideous quality of the printing and the unreadable screen. Now the great printer I have is being made obsolete because there will be no cartridges available, and apparently soon I'll have to deal with the garbage machinery that passes for a printer these days.

Ordering Ink From HP
I can't review my purchase of HP 61XL Ink because it has not arrived. It's been a month since I ordered this ink cartridge. I had to order from someone else today because I'm afraid I'll run out of ink.

HP is a great company!
I like ordering from HP not only for convenience, but this company gets what I want out to me pretty fast. 61XL offers a longer printing span as well, and I can keep working. That's altogether wonderful!

Very mixed feelings about HP at the moment. My HP printer has rejected the HP cartridges I bought at Staples and Office Depot - so I guess I'm stuck buying through them. I'm sick of wasting time and money trying to get a refund by jumping through their hoops.

Affordable Ink.
This ink is very affordable. It lasts a long time. I use it for printing out recipes so I can follow the directions. I also print out my tax forms and insurance correspondence. The way Microsoft takes my files and puts them in the cloud, I am afraid this important information will disappear if I save it on my computer.

What choice do I have?
Yeah, the thing works, but what choice do I have? In order to keep my HP3000-J310 printer working it needs ink. That said, I LOVE my workhorse HP printer! I've had it a very long time and it just keep on going, so of course I buy ink for it.

Rude Employees
I had tried to cancel the order within 2 hours after the order was placed because I had received an incorrect number for the cartridge to be ordered. Both employees were quite rude and refused to cancel the order. You can be certain that the next printer we order WILL NOT BE AN HP!!!

As much as I like the printer, the XL cartridges are definitely not printing 300 pages. For the little I get out of it , they're very overpriced.

Had to use HP Ink online, cartridge not available in local supply stores!
We have an older HP 4630 printer which still works well. The 61XL cartridge is difficult to find in office supply stores in this area. HP online had that item as both single, or double pack at a slightly lower price. Package arrived on time.
