Quality Counts
Recently I was trying to save money by ordering my printer ink from another supplier. What I received was cartridges that were expiring in 3 months and crushed boxes and one box that had been opened. I returned them and was credited. I then ordered from HP and received cartridges that were new and fresh, in fact was about the same price. Don't mess with imitators.

Poor, Poor Ink
Ink cartridges do not print many pages. After 40 pages it notifies me "printer low on ink". For the price of the cartridge the expectation is for well over 100 pages. And the printing is done in "draft" setting. Plus HP makes sure I have to use only HP ink cartridges and not other brands that cost 1/3 the price of HP. Currently looking at other printers and this HP will go in the garbage!

Overpriced
Hp software prevents the consumer from using inexpensive ink. Hp ink is overpriced.

My review
I am profoundly disappointed with HP's continued pricing practices regarding ink cartridges. The high cost of proprietary cartridges, combined with what appears to be declining page yields, gives the impression that customers are being exploited rather than served. Consumers who have invested in HP printers are effectively locked into purchasing expensive consumables, with few meaningful alternatives.
This approach undermines trust and creates the perception that HP is prioritizing recurring revenue over customer satisfaction. I believe the pricing of ink cartridges is unreasonable, and the apparent reduction in pages printed per cartridge raises serious questions about value and transparency.
Because of these issues, I am unlikely to purchase another HP printer and will actively consider manufacturers whose business practices better respect their customers. HP's current model has turned what should be a positive ownership experience into a source of ongoing frustration and dissatisfaction.

Costly and won't last long.
HP ink is wayyyyy overpriced and they make it so you can't use any of brands. Plus the ink only prints two dozen pages then starts telling me in almost out of ink. Will probably get a different brand in the future.

Some HP prnters are Outstanding!
HP 2567 and 2680 printers are the best.
They just chug along at amazing speeds, putting out good copy.
If you're using the 2567,try tri-color green bar paper; you'll thank me later.

HP is out of control
HP makes excellent printers so does Canon I do not like the pricing I don't like the fact that I purchase something and that if it's past the expiration date they don't accept it in the printer and I can't use other aftermarket cartridges and the fact that HP puts a printer limit on my printer it's built in obsolescence I don't like that I've had HP products for over 40 years laser printers inkjet printers and it seems that over the years HP is trying to control you more you don't really own the printer or the ink you lease it that's what it looks like I have another printer a Canon and I can shove any kind of ink I want in there at about a fifth of the price and it works fine take a lesson HP You're going to lose business I should have the decision what kind of ink I want to put into it and when I want to replace it not when you tell me to replace it I'll never buy any one of your computers again Dell is a solid buy I love their stuff I have two HP laptops and three Dell laptops the Dell laptops is superior and more easily upgradeable and they don't break down

the ink is nice
I think the ink is good. It seems HP's lower priced printers clog too easily and waste ink trying to clean the head.

Ink spilled upon opening
I have used the cartridges for years, have opened many, this time, though ink spilled all over me when I opened the cartridge. Once that had stopped, install was a breeze. Just a bit messy the last time.

Great Colour but too Expensive
The HP 910XL ink cartridges provide accurate colour, snap in easily and my online order arrives fairly quickly. The downside, they are too expensive and I am looking for an alternative to these cartridges and eventually a different printer.

Choose the 910XL instead.
While the product is fine, avoid the 910 and go with the 910XL. Purchased the 910 and could not complete 4 Tax Returns before it ran out of ink. That amounts to less the 100 pages. Rather disappointing.

Could be cheaper or hold more ink
I have the printer so I have to buy the ink. If there were a cheaper option I, as well as everyone else, would totally be happier. It definitely doesn't last as long as it should. I hardly use the printer and still ran out of ink fast. Maybe a higher volume cartridge as an option would help.

Make sure you have authentic HP 910XL ink cartridges
The 910XL ink cartridge arrived as fast as they said it would arrive. The printer accepted the cartridge as authentic cartridge and was able to be installed in the printer as authentic cartridge. Order two others from other vendor and they turned out not to be authentic cartridges which then the HP printer will not accept them. Needless to say, they were returned.
