Toner is definitely the way to go. Never dries out. My printer is also super easy to replace the cartridges.

Color Laser Pro M254dw Ink Cartridges.
I have been using HP 202X High Yield Jet Toner Cartridges that my Color Laser Pro M254dw uses for over ten years and I am still 100% satisfied with the quality print of ALL four colors! Good product, outrageous price.
The process to purchase is quick and easy. Delivery was smooth and quick. The product works as expected. The price is outrageous. There is no justification for charging these prices for toner.

Don't cut corners with an off brand
Don't use off brands of toner!! I sure made a huge mistake using an off brand from an online establishment. I won't do it again. The off brand made a mess of my copies. Only using HP brand toner from here on. Lesson Learned!!!

Switch and go printing.
Trouble free swap that kept the quality printing without any adjustments to the settings. It's not cheap but it's reliable.

a Non-HP cartridge from HP?
For reasons yet explained to me, I installed a new Cyan toner cart into my LaserJet Pro (from 2018) and it's telling me I can't use it as the printer thinks it's not a valid-HP cart. It's fully branded HP, including the hologram that's on the box it came in. Made contact w support via Twitter but it's slow going with the back and forth. It's put me out of service for 3 days now.

Straight original replacement
This is the OM product that performs well. HP apparently creates issues of adaptation for secondary providers which you won?t experience with this, just a deadly expensive choice. Worth it to us for our low volume home use.

Best results happen when I use only HP Toner
I only use HP Toner in all of my HP Laser printers. The cost is no higher and I avoid the quality issues with non-HP products. Buying direct from HP is the fastes moset economical way to buy toner. I alway use the recycle return label included in each box

We love our hp laser printer. The cartridges were easy to install and were at a reasonable price.

Would be nice
Bought this in Oct of 20 but didnt need it til Dec. I popped it in easy. I then ran my print and had a big blue streak. Tried cleaning the printer and running all the diag tools and it still prints a blue streak. I tried to contact HP so many times to no avail. If you buy this be prepared for it to not work and that you need to take time off work to figure out how HP support works and even then expect it to go nowhere. So in the end, be prepared to accept a broken cartridge if you happen to get a bad one. I guess I will have to find one local so if its bad I have someone or someplace to take it to vs buying direct from HP and needing an Olympic medal to be able to jump through the loops that is their web presence.

Over Priced, Held captive by HP
When you purchase a printer you are held captive by it manufacturer. They could give you the printer and just sell toner.

The "OEM" Toner
Typical HP "OEM" excellence in a toner cartridge, that can't be outdone. Off-brands, obviously, are cheaper. And that really shows. Misaligned parts in the cartridge. Improper transfer of toner to fuser. Leaking toner. Need more be said? Certainly, you pay more for the 'real thing' from HP, but you get so much more. Plus the peace of mind that you have the very best in your printer.

Total rip off!
Not happy at all. Aftermarket non-HP cartridges are 36% the cost and almost as good, but the HP built-in software won’t allow them to run. It’s MY printer and I should be able to run any cartridge I want.
