My fave protective filter

This is a quality glass filter I keep on my lens for protection but also to add warm tones. It really brightens shadows and skin tones. Heliopan's quality is worth the extra cost.

Perfect filter for everyday use

I use these filters to protect both my Canon 70-200 F2.8 II IS lens as well as my 24-70 F2.8. They work very well at protecting the lenses from scratches. If you spend your hard earned money on top of the line lenses then don't skimp on a cheap filter to protect them. Spend a bit more and enjoy quaility all around.

This light salmon colored skylight filter reduces the bluish cast in scenic photography, snow scenes or of normal objects around noon time it absorbs UV radiation and serves as a protective filter which can stay on the lens at all times, as there is no light loss.
