Nice equipment needs nice protection. The HPRC 2600 protects your goods from impact and water. This well built case is lightweight and the divider system allows you to use it for a variety of equipment, which I have. It will also let me modify if my needs/equipment changes.

I've been looking at cases for my new DJI PHANTOM 3 quadcopter and it seems like all the vendors are doing is buying these hard cases, customize them to fit the drone and sell it for a huge profit - like the HPRC2700. I decided to go with the HPRC 2600 case since I'd be storing the drone without the propellers. The Pelican 1550 seems like a strong contender but my gut says HPRC and I like the design. I saw somewhere online comparison between the Pelican vs HPRC trying to knock down HPRC as 'plasticy'. I don't know if he got a bootleg version but the HPRC case I purchased is just as solid. I've used Pelican cases before so I'll know any other good or bad case when I see one. Now about the HPRC 2600, it's a very solid case, very good design and the weight seems right. The handle is contoured just right to fit in your hands. It has four latches with solid closure. The material has a good finish to it. The foam insert is similar to the Pelican and easy to pluck and customize. I hope this will last a long time.
