Just imagine the power and convenience of extending USB 2.0, Audio, dual RS-232, and dual display HDMI video signals to multiple locations with the GEM-EX-S Dual Head 4K HDMI + USB + Audio + RS-232 Sender with 2-Port Splitter. This advanced system supports a wide range of resolutions, including 1080p @ 60 Hz and 4K UHD @ 30 Hz, ensuring high-quality video transmission.
The Sender unit is equipped with two HDMI inputs, a USB input, an analog audio input, and a dual-port RS-232 port, making it perfect for connecting to a dual-head PC. The audio input is cleverly embedded into HDMI A for seamless integration.
Designed with user convenience in mind, the Sender provides two local HDMI outputs that correspond to the two HDMI inputs. It also features an internal USB hub with two local USB outputs, offering more connectivity options.
The system is capable of extending these signals up to a distance of 100 m (328 ft.) over a single CAT6 cable. It also includes two separate RJ45 output ports, allowing you to extend these signals to multiple remote locations.
For added functionality, the system comes with four additional general-purpose USB 2.0 ports, perfect for connecting other USB devices such as printers or scanners. Please note that for security reasons, USB memory devices are not supported by default.
In a setup with one Sender and one Receiver, the USB ports automatically pair. However, in a setup with multiple GEM-EX Receivers, only one Receiver can be paired at a time. This pairing is easily accomplished using a push-button on the front panel of the Receiver, with a corresponding LED indicating the USB pairing status.
The RJ45 output ports on the Sender can also be connected to ULTRA-V Receivers, which provide one video output and no USB. By default, ULTRA-V Receivers display Video A, but can be configured to display Video B if needed.
