While the UH18 4K UHD Video & USB HDBaseT 2.0 Extender with Sender and Receiver is a high-quality, advanced, and reliable solution for transmitting HDMI video, USB, IR, and RS-232 signals over a single CAT6 cable for distances exceeding 100 meters. This durable and easy-to-use device is ideal for facilitating remote access to a PC and securely positioning the PC away from the user station. The Sender component of this extender kit, the UH18-S, offers a local HDMI loop output and a USB hub, allowing users to access the PC both locally and remotely. The Receiver, or UH18-R, along with the Sender, extends power, USB, RS-232, and IR signals on the same cable, with the flexibility to connect the power supply at either end of the extender. The UH18 extender kit boasts an impressive 18 Gbps video bandwidth and supports HDMI resolutions up to and including 4K @ 60 Hz 4:4:4 (UHD), ensuring the transmission of high-quality video signals. The Sender features a built-in video splitter and a convenient local HDMI video output connector, while USB 2.0 extends from a USB host connected at the Sender. Both the Sender and Receiver have USB hubs with two USB device ports, facilitating the connection of various USB devices such as keyboards, mice, touch screens, printers, flash drives, webcams, or other USB 1.1/2.0 devices. The extender kit also offers a user-selectable "LONG REACH" mode, supporting distances up to 150 meters (500 feet) with a maximum resolution of 1920 x1080 (1080p). For added convenience, the remote receiver de-embeds HDMI audio and provides both analog (L/R stereo on 3.5mm jack) and digital SPDIF via RCA. This feature makes it perfect for connecting a pair of speakers at the remote location when used with the Hall Research AMP-4840 audio amplifier.
