It also offers audio return extension, allowing audio to be sent back from the receiver to the sender. The source of this independent audio return is user-selectable and can originate from the ARC pin of the HDMI connector at the Receiver (from the connected TV's ARC signal) or from a separate SPDIF audio input connector on the Receiver.

The Receiver (Model UH2X-R-PD) also features two USB 2.0 ports, functioning as a USB hub. These ports are compatible with all USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 devices and meet the HDBaseT 2.0 specifications.
