The UI-IP8-DP is a programmable 8-button IP keypad that can send user programmed TCP/Telnet commands to IP enabled equipment. It also provides one Relay contact output that can be opened or closed based on user program. Commands can be triggered by pressing any of its 8 buttons on the front panel, by accessing the webpage embedded in it or by programming day/time schedules. You can program and recall up to 16 individual macros to send TCP messages/commands to many IP enabled and IoT systems such as AV distribution, factory automation, security, keypad access.
The buttons have 2 color LEDs whose on/off state, color and brightness can be programmed as part of the command Macros. The UI-IP8-DP includes a power supply and it can be powered via the LAN that it is connected to using PoE (Power over Ethernet). This gives you the convenience to not having to connect a separate power supply to the wall plate. The UI-P8-DP includes integrated battery-backed clock/calendar that can be used to schedule actions.
This feature allows the user to send commands to control devices based on day/time schedule. For example, each evening it can issue power off commands to controllable devices on the network. The 8 buttons on the keypad are not labeled as shipped from the factory. Provided in the package is a sheet with 28 pre-printed labels. A sheet of clear labels is also included.
